We are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer for an FSRU-based LNG import terminal in Wilhelmshaven. This role involves leading the planning and coordination of operations and maintenance activities at the terminal. Key responsibilities include planning preventive & corrective maintenance activities and coordinating third-party contractors and service providers. The Senior Operations Engineer works closely with the technical and HSE teams to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable terminal operations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and manage weekly and monthly work schedules for the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team;
Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all facility systems and equipment;
Coordinate third-party service providers and contractors, including scope definition, procurement processes, permit-to-work issuance, supervision, and performance evaluation;
Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards during all maintenance and service activities;
Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders, asset status, and maintenance history;
Technical document review, preparation and periodic renewal of procedures;
Day-to-day operational reporting of O&M and HSE KPI’s.

EXPECTED QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATES AND EXPERIENCE:

Technical degree in engineering or other technical- oriented discipline (mechanical engineering, electrical & automation, marine, etc.);
5+ years of experience in operations and/or maintenance roles within an industrial facility, including planning and coordination responsibilities;
Fluency (B2 or higher) in English and German;
Driver’s license.
